The founders of the business have a wealth of property related experience between them and are able to provide full CV’s should they be required.

In brief their relevant skills are as follows:

Jim Story:
With 20 years experience of property management at all levels up to Executive Director, Jim has recently left BPT Limited to co-establish S3 Residential Limited.

In January 2000, Jim was appointed as a Director on the Main Board of BPT Plc when his main role was to source and acquire stock for the company. In addition he also had full responsibility for the operational performance of the company’s portfolio in the North of England.

BPT Plc were, at the time, the UK’s largest private residential landlord with a portfolio of in excess of 11,000 residential units and a market capitalisation of over £500 million.

After BPT Plc was taken over, in 2001, Jim was made responsible for the management and operational performance of the entire portfolio of 10,000 residential units nationwide.

He has extensive experience of Strategic Planning, Asset Management, Budget Setting, Sales and Acquisitions.  Jim is keenly aware of the need to drive  a business forward by creating the right conditions for Business Growth. With this knowledge and experience Jim is only too aware of  the importance of the “Bottom Line” in any business venture.

Simon Perkins:
Simon Perkins is a Chartered Surveyor with a degree in Estate Management and 15 years experience in the Acquisition, Letting and Management of residential property across the Midlands.

In 1998, he was made Regional Investment Manager for Countrywide Residential Lettings for the Midlands and North. He acquired residential investments for both individual and corporate clients across this region. Simon also managed and developed a property management centre in Nottingham to cater for all client profiles.

In 2000, he took on the role of Area Manager for the 8 Midlands Offices and developed this business into the most profitable area within Countrywide Residential Lettings. The area manages over 2500 units and is responsible for letting over 175 properties per month.
His wide experience of the Midlands market in particular, makes Simon excellent at identifying suitable residential investments.  He is also able to appraise suitable schemes both quickly and effectively, to establish realistic rental and sales values.  His in depth knowledge of lettings and management enable S3 Residential Limited to provide an overall service that is second to none.

We are, as mentioned previously, also able to call upon a wide range of fellow professionals to assist with the business. They, of course, can be made known to you if so required and all of them have a wide range of experience in the Residential Property field.
